Tabitha's 4th Birthday

Well, you can tell we NEED a baby because we spoil our furbabies so much! Today is Tabitha's 4th birthday and we gave her a crinkle cube to play in but as soon as she got in it, her sister, Chelsea attacked her cube and forced her out! It has been hilarious watching them fight over the thing. Of course our little timid Savannah just sat and watched them going crazy! You can also see her birthday "cake" which was her favorite Fancy Feast with a candle in it. I love the way she's looking at it. I think she knows how crazy her parents are! hahahahaha Happy Birthday Tabby!

Panda For Rebekah

We were out today and found the cutest little Panda bear for Rebekah. It's even made by a company called "Douglas" hahahahahahaha When we got home and put it on the sofa, our little cat, Chelsea, who looks like a Panda, loved it. We took some pictures of her with it and then brought in her cat candy to get her to pose. That cat LOVES that cat candy! Any of you with cats need to get some of that stuff. She goes NUTS over it! Anyway, enjoy the pictures of Rebekah's panda bear and her kitty, Chelsea.

Cat Flag

Well, today we were out shopping and we found a new flag for the house which is PURRFECT for us! It is a cat flag. Geez, we need a baby! hahahahahahahaha Enjoy!

Bye Bye To Rebekah's Cup

This morning I was unloading the dishwasher and lo' and behold what do I find melted in the bottom of the thing? Baby Bekah's ladybug cup that my dear friend, Felicity, sent from Las Vegas! Guess who put it there without checking to see if it was dishwasher safe? Well, let's narrow it down......it wasn't me, it wasn't any of the cats........hmmmmmm???? That's right, Big Daddy caused the thermal meltdown! Way to go Douggie! Hahahahahahahaha

Mother's Day Card From Our Secret Pals

Yesterday was Mother's Day and I really enjoyed it. Doug and I went to church and heard the children sing a song for all of the mothers. Then they passed out potted flowers and one little girl gave me one. I told Doug,"I'm not a mother yet," and my sweet husband said, "yes you are, you're a mother-to-be or a mother in waiting." He took me out to eat dinner at Outback....yum yum and bought me some more flowers for my garden on the patio. He is such a sweet hubby!

Then today I got a Mother's Day card from our March DTC Secret Pals and it says, "For the Mother-to-Be." WOW, what a cute card! Thanks Secret Pals! We love you guys too! Today after work, I went out shopping for our secret pals gifts for the month. The theme is Music and Melodies........what a fun theme to shop for! I spent about an HOUR just in the toy department! hahahahahahahaha How cute is that that I shopped for our Secret Pals and then get home and there's a card from the Secret Pals that have our names? hahahahahahaha

13 Months Down!

I just realized that today is our 13th LIDiversary with our dossier being logged in with the CCAA. Doug and I went down to Greensboro, NC and shopped. I found the BabysRUs! Oh man, I LOVED that store! I found a soft pink blanket with ladybugs on it(the goodluck symbol for Chinese adopting parents). Bought that and a little toy that is shaped like a cat. We had dinner at Olive Garden and just enjoyed being together. We never even remembered that it was our LIDiversary! hahahahahahaha Anyhow, here's hoping that things speed up and we get our baby girl sooner than expected.

Goodies From Janice!

Well the past week has been an emotionally draining week and I'm hoping to get back to work tomorrow but I wanted to post the pictures of some goodies that my mentor at school, Janice Carter, gave Doug to give me for the baby. She is such a sweet lady and one of those "angels" that we're often blessed with in life. The other day, when I finally got to open the gifts I just oooohhed and ahhhhhhed over every little thing. I can't wait til we have our baby Bekah and can see her these little clothes! The little "mommy Boyd's bear" is just precious! Of course the journal with the kitty on the front just goes to show you that Janice KNOWS how much we love our furrbabies! THANK YOU MY DEAR FRIEND! You always know just how to make me smile when things seem awful! God bless!
